Ingredients

1 kg (2.2 lbs) chicken breast, cubed 

30 g (1/4 cup) corn flour 

150 ml (5 fl oz) chicken stock 

1/2 lemon, juiced and zested

1 tbsp rice wine

50 ml (1 fl oz) reduced salt soy sauce 

50 g (1/8 cup) honey 

10 g (0.5 oz)  garlic cloves, pressed 

10 g (0.5 oz) ginger pressed

1/2 tsp. chilli flakes

Pinch of black pepper

Sesame seeds and chopped spring onion for garnish 


Method

 

  1. Add the chicken to the slow cooker.

  2. Combine the flour, chicken stock, lemon juice, rice wine, lemon zest, soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, chilli flakes and black pepper in a jug then pour over the chicken.

  3. Cover and cook on low for 4 hours. Serve and garnish with the sesame seeds and spring onions.
